Privacy Policy

This policy is issued by Flourish (“we,” “us”), and it covers two different things: flourishpostnatal.com, the website you're reading right now, and the Flourish app. They work very differently, so we're explaining them separately below. In short: the website collects an email address if you choose to join our waitlist, and nothing more. The app collects nothing at all.
1. The Website: What We Collect
Waitlist email. If you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide, so we can let you know when Flourish is ready. That email is sent through Resend to a Flourish inbox — there is no database it's saved to. If email delivery isn't set up at the moment you sign up, the form instead opens your own email app with a message pre-filled to send us directly; in that case, your address goes straight from your device to your email provider, not to us first.
Standard hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs (like IP address and timestamp) the way any web host does. We don't use this site to run analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising pixels.
2. The App: What We Collect
Nothing. The Flourish app has no account, no sign-up, and no login. It makes no network calls of its own — no analytics software development kit, no crash reporting, no advertising or attribution tools, nothing that talks to a server anywhere.
Every check-in, mood and symptom log, energy level, journal entry, favorite, completed practice, and profile answer (like your delivery type or how many weeks postpartum you are) is written directly to your device's own private app storage — the sandboxed space (UserDefaults and JSON files in Application Support) that the operating system sets aside for Flourish alone. It stays there. There's no HealthKit integration, no iCloud or CloudKit sync, and no backup to any server we run. That information is protected by whatever passcode and device encryption you already have set up on your phone or tablet — the same protection covering everything else on your device.
3. How Subscriptions Work
Flourish Premium is sold as an Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles the transaction entirely — we never see or receive your card details, and Apple does not share your personal information with us. A subscription is simply an entitlement Apple confirms to the app directly; it isn't tied to an account on our end, because there is no account.
4. We Don't Sell, Share, Or Advertise
We don't run ads in the app or on this website, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't sell or share your information with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else. For the app, that's not just a promise — we never receive your data in the first place, so there is nothing of yours to sell or share.
5. Your Choices
Website. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time, or email us to ask that we delete your waitlist email address — we can do that, since it lives in our inbox.
App. We can't access, export, or delete your check-in data for you, because we never receive it — there's nothing on our end to act on. You're always in direct control of it instead: it lives entirely on your device, and deleting the Flourish app permanently deletes everything with it.
6. Children's Privacy
Flourish is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, on the website or in the app.
7. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as Flourish evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
